The Story

Sapphire Balconies, a Reading based company, were contracted to build and install 139 balconies for the new build. The high interest shown in the apartments by the public meant the installations had to be fitted quickly while still maintaining a level of quality expected for luxury properties.

Sapphire Balconies got in contact with SWR as the construction of each balcony required customised wire rope components to keep them suspended. They also needed a company flexible enough to send out wire rope in split deliveries due to on-going surveyance of the building site.

The Result

Each batch of customised stainless steel assemblies was measured, roller swaged, stamped and tested before delivery to the customer. In total, our Production Team made 248 assemblies split out over multiple deliveries and measurements.
